Can you open a bank account in America while in England? |
which bank can i use? Generally a bank will require proof of identity - driver's license, etc. before they will open an account. The only way you can do this is with a bank that has a branch in England as well as in the US. Check with HBSC. I think they are in both. If you have an American Social Security number, there are several online banks that do not mail paperwork and do it all online. That said, the opening deposit would be a problem (although sometimes you can mail in an opening deposit check). Try IngDirect.com You need a US taxpayor ID to open a bank account in the US. That being said, you will have to provide proof of residence to obtain one, so if you don't have a US address to apply for the taxpayor ID, you are out of luck. why do u want to open a bank account in america i do hope its nothing to do with felong plastics as they are a scam they want ur money then they will run |
