IBAN and Swift/BIC are international money transfer tools. 1] Check with your bank if OK to give this info to e-bay (who probably want to refund your money directly). 2] Ask e-bay to send you a cheque. 3] Why did you not use PayPal? con for bank details your about to be set up report scammer Yes they are!! Your IBAN number is on your bank statement! I wouldn't give it personally, I've never heard of Ebay asking for this type of info before. IBAN and Swift/BIC numbers are used for international bank transfers. They apply to UK banks when someone is ending money to a UK bank or from a UK bank to a foreign bank. |
