Please can anyone help with any links as to how i can open a bank account in the usa while being a uk resident There is an ad for ING direct on my page now, Ironic isn't it? I would suggest you go to ING.com they are one of the best. ing.com This is an on line bank, No bricks and mortar. Everything is done on line and they offer checking accounts as well. They also give very competitive interest rates for your savings accounts. You can't unless you have an US address and an US form of identification. Are you living in the US? Will you be going to school here? Most banks will allow you to open an account as long as you have 2 forms of ID (passport and credit card work). If you are already in the US just go into a bank and ask to open an account. I would suggest doing a little research before opening the account to see which bank you like the best. |
