i just want to know the quickest way,can someone go into a bank in rep of ireland and wire the money to my a/c and how long would it be untill i would recieve the money. Maybe you could split the transaction in two - a small amount by WU, and a bigger amount via a slower international money movement between banks (which would have a lower commission.) When I send $ from UK to Australia it takes 2.5 working days usually (but they don't guarranty it to be that fast). The money can be sent via Moneygram. This can be done at any Bank of Ireland and other outlets in Ireland. You can then collect the money from the post office. Apparently the money can be with you in 10Min's.
