How can I cash a Bank of Montreal (in USD) check in Malaysia? I doubt it very much they wouldn't exchange for us money the same as we wouldn't cash a cheque in their currency but the bank may send it away for exchange and would be quite a while till you got your money Hi Jane, do you mean I can deposit the check in any local bank in Malaysia or preferably an Iinternational bank such as Citibank and have to wait a while? I don't mind waiting. Ask the bank for more information. Some local banks are connected with the international financial network and have foreign correspondent banks, but it might take a while. International banks might be faster in their correspondency. |
