What are really fun things to do in New York that won't break the bank this spring break? |
My family wants to take a road trip and I am trying to persuade in the direction of New York (or anywhere north). The places have to something that a 16, 13, 18, and 15 year olds will enjoy Theres always Niagra Falls near Buffalo NY, Cedar Point (one of the best theme parks in the US, In my opinion) in OH, Hershey Park (the candy company has an awesome theme park) in Hershey PA. Try looking info by state and take into consideration drive time that will take away time for the fun stuff. Have fun! Chill in Central Park, Washington square, walk around west or east village, musuem of natural history (suggested donation), toys r us, rockefeller center, times square... Try the arcade, the movies, sight seeing, and of course my favorite SHOPPING....It doesn't have to be clothes shopping it could be soveneir shopping. Make sure you take them to the Statue of Liberty. You should ride the subway, visit Harlem, and go in the statue of liberty. NBC Studios in Manhattan is cool, and you could be on the Today Show.New York has many differnt kinds of restaurants and excellent shopping. Also visit the ground zero memorial. |
