For those who use prepaid credit cards or debit cards, who offers the best? |
I've read the different sites, but I want someone's opinion. They seem better than credit cards because once you pay for it, its paid for. No monthly bill. They are good for some but not for all. They have some disadvantage also. Suppose when you want to buy a gift for your loved ones then while paying you see there is no amont in your account but with credit cards it won't be the problem. The best thing is if you go for some good credit cards which has low apr and reward programs and pay your bills on time. You can also go for some prepaid debit cards. Visa is the best according to me. To know more you can visit http://www.creditcardbiz.blogspot.com... The best ones are the ones that don't charge transaction fees at their own bank's ATMs and other banks' ATMs, However - they're not perfect. You're right - for people trying to stay out of debt they're great. They offer the convenience of a credit card - but the money is deducted directly from your checking account so there's no monthly bill - and it's hard to get in over your head. However, you can overdraw the account (especially at gas stations) so it's always good to know exactly how much you have in your account. If you do overdraw your account the bank may charge you an overdraft fee which can run $25 - $35 dollars. What's more, they're not credit cards - so you may not get the same purchase/fraud protection that you would with a credit card if your card is lost of stolen. If someone steals your card they could clean out your account by making purchases, and getting cash back, before you even get a chance to report it. If that happens with a credit card you're usually only liable for a small amount - but with a debit card the rules differ. The best thing to do is write a list of questions, and ask at the bank where you're thinking of getting your card. Then go with the one that offers the features and benefits you need - and has the lowest or no fees. I found interesting information about your answer Here: Credit cards: http://all-debt-consolidation-loan.blogs... Good Luck! |
