What are some good credit cards for people with not the best credit? |
Credit cards without huge fees and stuff. If you have bad credit, it is hard to find cards with no fees or low APR. You can try capital one, bank of america, crown jewelers, or hooters mastercard. All of this credit cards can have really high APR's so be careful but they are all sub prime lenders and will lend to people with bad credit. If you have bad credit, you should really get all of your credit reports and possibly dispute stuff that might be incorrect. If you get you fico scores, you can go to www.whogavemecredit.com put your scores in and find out some cards that have been approved for you scores. If you don't have good credit start out with a store card like JC Pennys or Sears Or Stage or something like that. The other thing you can do is get a credit card from your bank it might cost you something to have it the first year, but if you pay it on time and stuff it will build your credit so you will be able to get more major credit cards in the future. Capital One. Avoid the high street banks as they perform searches on you, and each application leaves a little note on file. Try Capital One Credit Card,they gave me one no problem and obviously dont use a credit reference agency to vet you, or i would not have got one with my history.Another is MBNA. If you apply for a Capital 1 card it should be no problem as the credit limit starts quite low at around 拢200 ,and if you buy cheap things and pay back on time they raise the limit,and will keep raising it, so long as you dont get behind with your payments ! But i would just say try to pay back all outstanding credit each month as this will save you interest payable on the outstanding amount,and also is a sure way to get your limit raised.(because there making money off people who are paying interest charges) I got my limit raised from 拢200 to 拢3600 in two years Many cards are available on the web.
