Which credit card is best for a first time user to pay for a holiday in July and then pay it back by Chrismas? |
I am going on holiday in July for a month with my wife and 2 kids. I want to get the tickets now, so they are cheaper. I am hoping to get a bonus at work and a rebate for my over charged gas bill which, if they come off should pay for the tickets at a later date. I want to know which card company will charge the least for this and what card is best for going on holiday. You should look for a card that has zero percent interest for six months or longer. This way, if you can pay off your balance before the six months, you won't pay any fees. There are a lot of cards out there that offer periods of no interest. I'd just do a search on the internet for a card or call one of the major credit cards and ask. The average person does NOT pay off their credit cards when due. There are several no interest cards for a period of time (up to 6 mos), but unless you have the discipline to KNOW that you will pay them off, do NOT get a credit card. Save and pay cash. If you have to buy them now, sell an unused asset and pay cash. The best answer is ALWAYS PAY WITH CASH!!! Debt is lousy to have and can cripple your finances for your family. |
