Which credit card is best to earn mileage between the US and UK? |
Any credit card that offers mileage for an airline that flies between LA and London- BA, Virgin, United... Hey there. Do you have good credit? Because if you do, it turns out that the Capital One mileage card (you know, the "what's in your wallet" people) is a pretty good one. If you qualify, there's no annual fee and the miles you earn can be used on any airline. The only problem is that you generally need more miles to earn flights, and more expensive flights require more miles. Oh, and you can't combine these miles with miles that you earn by actually flying on an airline. That means that all your miles have to be earned by spending money using the card. Okay, so the more I talk about it the less appealing it seems. So if that doesn't excite you, try... American Express Blue has no annual fee, but it does have a rewards program that hooks up with Virgin Atlantic's frequent flyer program. You can transfer reward points you earn on the card into Virgin Atlantic miles.
