Is it possible to buy a business... If my personal credit isn't good?

I would like to buy a laundry mat or something along those lines....

Yes - as long as:

1. You avoid borrowing from banks, including SBA loans
2. You have funds saved up
3. You have family or friends who can help you
4. You can find other investors to join you in the business
5. You make a financing arrangement with the buyer
6. You don't waste your time looking for grants (there aren't any for laundry mat business, unless you're starting it in the poorest areas or in the Katrina affected areas)
7. You can use Other People's Money

Yes it is. You must look for the motivated seller. Someone who wants to sell there business. work aout a deal for them to hold a note.
Also find people who will be willing to invest. they give you the money you need in return they get a part of the profit each month quarter, or yearly.

I have started business with no money and no credit.
