How do I get a small loan to start a business with not so good credit? |
The business idea is great I just cant get the money for the equipment ..Please help...I'm starting to lose faith With bad credit, your family and friends are your best bet... Try the Small Business Association Try the Small Business Administration thy can help. Also a good idea would be to take on a partner with some cash. Put an add in the papers. GOOD LUCK/ You have to start at step 1, not jump to 3 or 4. And that is you are going to have to fix your credit. Number 2, start-up funding for small businesses is very difficult without a track record. Have you done an actual business plan? This is a prerequisite for funding in many cases as well. There is assistance for start-up entrepreneurs. The Small Business Administration is one. I also like a group called Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA), especially their ASSETS program. Our non-profit agency is using their model for our entrepreneurial training program and it's been a real success. It's really designed for people for little to no background in business, and brings you up to speed fast with what you can do in terms of financing etc. Best of luck to you. Don't give up yet. Thinking your way around hurdles is what you are going to have to do as a business person anyway, so get used to it. When you hear "no," you just keep tinkering till you hear a "yes."
