It's actually a completely genius scam. Threaten people with hell, and they'll give you 10% of their income. I just wish I had thought of it first
There really oughta be some tax system introduced. Something with an adjustable scale. Let the tiny and small churches retain tax exempt status.

Not all churches but the catholic church alone . They refuse to pay their taxes to thge government. Give Caesar what is due for Caesar.

Pretty much. I think they should be taxed like any other business. They advertise like one, they take your money like one, and they step all over people's rights like one.
