Is anyone else upset that our tax dollars were spent to fly John Karr home business class?


Why in the world did a suspect in the murder of a child get to fly home from Thailand business class? I travel Internationallly to do volunteer work and can't afford business class, it is too expensive. Why should our taxes pay for a confessed killer to have a comfy seat and gormet food on his flight back to the States? Now we know he is a big liar too. They are dropping the case against him because his DNA wasn't found at the murder scene.

Karr is a delusional man. and im sure he was flown bussiness class, either becuase of security, or availibility, to get him to the states asap

Yeah I'm upset. I think he confessed because he's facing similar charges in Thailand and they're not as nice as we are with their justice system.

Personally, I hope they castrate him. Sorry for sounding mean or callous, but I have zero sympathy for child molestors.

i agree with you! Things like this always upset me, why does this keep happening? there must be a way to fix it?
If I had my way I fly him 1/2 way back, gee I pay for that myself, 1/2 way and out :), but really he should pay back the goverment the $2000.00 it cost us to bring him back to the states.
The guy is crazy, and they know it. This is a high profile case about some rich people and they had to exploit it for more interest to the people.
