Am i required to file personel and business taxes togeather? If you are just running a smal biz as an individual (not incorporated or a partnership), you file your biz info on a Schedule C. It is a supplemental schedule to your regular 1040 long form. Business taxes are due by march 15th and personal taxes are due by April 15th. USA tax YES: The IRS require that you fill out forms for the business. These forms are added to your 1040 so the personal and business taxes are recorded at one time. It depends on whether your business is incorporated, and if so, how it's incorporated. If it isn't, then you include the business income and expenses on schedule C or C-EZ with your 1040. If the business is incorporated, then the business will file a separate return. Some or all of the business income might flow to your personal return depending on the type of incorporation. That depends upon the nature of the business and how it exists from a legal perspective. If you're a sole proprietor, your business income and expenses are reported on Schedule C or C-EZ as part of your Form 1040 tax return. If the business is a partnership, you file Form 1065, an informational return and list the shares of taxable income attributable to each partner. If the business is a corporation, you file a Corporate return on Form 1120. a calender year corp return is due on March 15th. Personal return is April 17th (this year the date is different) If you are a schedule C business (sole proprietor) that is part of your personal return. |
