When buying a car in NH, what would the sales tax be for me, because i live in ma?

You should only have to pay the sales tax in the state in which you live. If you title and register it in NH, you will pay their tax rate. If you have to title it and register it in NH, then drive it to MA, you will have to pay the difference between NH and MA, if MA is more. If it is less, you can try to apply for a refund in NH, but usually states don't refund tax money. I do know that MA is very particular about out of state temps and don't recognize any or some of them, so if you get an out of state temp, or out of state transport tag, make sure it is good in MA.
