Can Anyone That Drives A Car Relate About Why My 2nd Hand Cigarette Smoke Is Taxed And Your Fumes Are Not? |
Lets admit it-I can get into a room the size of your garage and chain smoke a whole pack of cigarettes and I will walk out-But you-In Your Car will die in that same room in that same period of time-yet on the side of my pack of smokes is a Surgeon Generals Warning-and yet more people die each year from Auto Accidents than do people from 2nd Hand Smoke. Why is it fair that you critisize my smoke and yet you justify your polluting the air with considerably higher toxins based on the excuse "A Car is a necessity". Shouldn't there also be an emissions law for automobiles that also dwell out 2nd Hand Smoke? Recently The State of Washington joined several other states making it illegal to smoke in doors or within 25 feet of businesses-and yet I see cars pull up to a Drive Thru Window exposing the workers there to fuel exhaust and Carbon Monoxide-shouldn't these persons also be fined for THEIR 2nd Hand Smoke. Idiots need not respond and further I DON'T OWN A CAR-put this in your pipe and- Please hurry up and die from lung cancer...I'm tired of your idiocy. I guess you never bothered to look at the Gas tax - about 50 cents a gallon average You make a very interesting point. I'm curious how people will answer this. wow. when I smoked, it calmed me down. Apparently you need something stronger. Try some pot. Its called gas tax you nimbleweed Smoking is evil, and a nasty habit, and the ones they're trying to really save aren't the second-hand smokers, but the first-hand smokers. Smoking kills, if you do it long enough, and the laws are going into effect to try and help more people change and create less indigent long-term hospital patients. Cars kill too, but a quick death is a lot more merciful than a long, lingering existence on oxygen, pills, and and and. Just think of the magic of being intubated to pull 3 pounds of liquified dying lung out of your chest. Mmmmmmm.... Cigarette? Sure sounds like a different issue when you look at it that way... there are emission laws. what do you propose? really high taxes on cars? stupid idea. |
