My 15 year old son came up with this idea last year & personally I think it's a pretty darn good idea.

That's like putting a special tax on cars to pay the medical expenses of all the unsafe drivers out there. Why punish the responsible adults for all the irresponsible ones?

I just see your underlying assumption that all pornography is bad, so if we tax it, who cares -- and I disagree with it on principle. Levying taxes should be a last resort, not a standard procedure -- that road leads straight to the kind centralized government control that works so poorly in Europe and India.

Funny how many closet socialists there are on this service, even among those who think of themselves as god-fearing moral Republicans.

Perhaps their should be a tax break for legal porn. We give a tax break to parents for having children, and then tax everyone for the cost of their public schooling.
