Can you claim an unborn child on your taxes?

So I am due april 4 07 , can I claim my child on my taxes for this year, if I wait to file until my child is born??

You have to wait until the child is born. So no you can't unfortunately. sorry
no......... to claim a child, the child must have a social security number or or an ISN number issued to them.......... if they do not then you cannot claim them
your child has to born. but I don't know every state is different but I'm pretty sure you have to wait till they are born before they count
no, you claim the child in the year it was born in.
The child must be born first. If you could claim an unborn child, just think how many people would do that, then get rid of the child, either through abortion or adoption. You will have to claim the child on next years taxes. Sorry, but congrats also.
nope, a child must have a SSN, for that to happen, it must be born alive.

not all pregnancies end in a live birth, so that's why you cannot claim that

btw, my birthday is april 6, horaaay
No. He has to be born in the filing year to be claimed (next year).
