Why do some think they can claim children as dependants on taxes, JUST because they pay child support? |
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Even the ones who dont even bother with the kids... let alone dont live with them for more then 6 month out of the year. Do they honestly think that amount of support pays for more then 50% of the childs living expenses? Can they not add or are they just looking for some money? Can someone out there PLEASE tell me how some people think its their right JUST because they pay child support? because some of them have the audacity to think that they do pay 50% of the child's living exspenses and yeah it is a hoot . They just want the extra money for themselves I know that was my exs case and he got whammed by the Irs . good for him to get whammed you know . good luck . It's called tax evasion. Report it to the IRS, and just claim them yourself. He'll have to deal with the consequences. you may want to consider letting them claim one child. At least the guy is paying child support. Have you any idea how many men don't pay child support? My husband had to move 550 miles away from his, just so he could pay child support and be able to live. Some women are so bitter and act so nasty, that they make the man not want to do deal with her and in the long run, the kids suffer. They get so tied up in war of words, money, etc, that they forget entirely about the kids. My parents divorced when I was 4 and they managed to be cordial and treat each other with respect. And it set a great example for me and my brother. |
