Define position on paying school taxes whether you have a child attending school or not? |
Define position on paying school taxes whether you have a child attending school or not? You should still have to pay them, it is for the greater good. Our school systems shape our children, and many could not function without tax dollars, most don't get enough now. Besides most tax payers attended school at some point so think of it as supporting your previously free education. (sort of like student loans for college) Not paying it would be like not wanting to pay for social security because you don't use it.... Think of it this way. You know you have to pay taxes. Once you pay they decide what they use it for. Your money is contributing to a better society. When you pay those school taxes, the schools have more money to offer a better education. It will impact your life, whether you have children or not. If your neighbor's son goes to school where they have money for better facilities and supplies, he won't be asking you for money in a few years -- he'll be earning it on his own. I think it is very wrong that parents with children that go to public schools have to pay fee's, We also have to support our children from a pension plus paying all the excursions the kids go and and the school camps all the stationary book's etc and that adds up to alot.. I think if you want your children to have an excellent education send them to a private school... We shouldn't have to pay extra school fee's for the government to go an fancy holidays.. Thank you Very Much |
