Are dependent children employed outside the home required to file income tax?



My 16 year old just got his first job. We live in Arkansas, and we are unsure (approaching middle-age, and forgot if I filed or not) if he needs to file income tax.

Yes, all income is taxable. It doesn't matter who is paying the living expenses of the taxpayer.
