Now that my children are grown i am having to pay in at tax time. what is the easiest way to avoid this? Im not exactly sure how you would do that in the UK, but here in the states, the easiest way is simply by increasing your withholding amount. 1) Have nore childern (too late for 2006) 2) Change your withholding to reduce your tax payment 3) Stop working: no income - no tax the reason is that you have lost deductions. Have more tax withheld from your paycheck. i am a cpa |
