Ok, so the government are going to lose out on the tax from cigarettes?

Where are they going to take the tax from now to make up for it?

It's a weak argument. Source(s): stub it out! Give non smokers the choice.
Don't worry, this labour government are master's of indirect and stealth taxation, they will think of something.
Why would they lose - people will still smoke despite the ban - what they will do is come up with an excuse (as always) and state that because of the revenue loss (which there won't be) they'll have to increase fuel tax AGAIN.

What ever way you look at it - Brown and his dingbats will find another way to bleed us dry. They should all be hung!
They have got to get the money from somewhere and we are the only ones they have, so watch out your tax will be going up!!!
the obvious springs to mind...beer,petrol,car tax, council tax,and there even thinking of a p.a.y.g system for your refuse?
hit the motorist. But they won't lose tax on smoking as we will all be outside puffing and getting nicked for dropping our cigarette ends on the floor.
