Student Loans/Scholarships for College?

I'm going to be applying to colleges next year and wanted to know about financial help. I'm hoping to attend USC but I know that it's really expensive. My family doesn't have that much money so I was wondering what are going to be my financial options. Thanks for the help.

Here are the steps you need to take:

1) Fill out the FAFSA. This will determine if you are eligible for financial aid. Go here:
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

2) Once you are eligible for aid, choose a government-based student loan. The best loan to get is a Federal Perkins Loan. These have low interest rates and the government will help you pay it back as long as you stay enrolled in school. For more info go here:

3) The next best loan to get is a Subsidized Stafford Loan. This has many of the same benefits as a Perkins Loan. Learn more here:

4) You can also try to get a grant or scholarship, which is free money that you won't have to pay back. Look here:

www.freewebs.com is a great scholorship resource.
you will need to apply for federal aid at http://fafsa.ed.gov/ by march 15th of next year to start classes in aug 2008. you will need both your tax return (if you're employed) as well as your parents'. this will state your eligibility for grants and federal stafford loans. for scholarships go to http://fastweb.com/ or http://finaid.org/. also complete a web search for specific types of scholarships you may be eligible for (ex: american indian ancestry, minority student, etc). talk to the school you are hoping to attend about possible scholarships they offer to their students. if after all that you need more money to finance the rest, you can apply for private loans. these require a credit check and you will likely need a co-signer with good credit in order to be approved. good luck and remember; if there's a will, there's a way!
Maybe you can try below website to get the information you need. It's about student loans articles for your second opinion.
