I want to erase my college debt. I'm a teacher. How do I get rid of it? Already tried Teacher Loan For. Prog

Good afternoon,
I'm a Metro Nashville (Tennessee) Public School teacher. I have been in the school system for just over 6 years. I am now in the process of paying back my loans and I am swamped. I'm looking at possible avenues for student loan forgiveness. To give you an idea, I have loans from 3 different lenders: Suntrust, EdFinancial, and Direct Loans (all unsubsidized and subsidized loans). I am currently looking into the Teacher Loan Forgiveness program by the government. However, that cannot be my only avenue. Anything you can find to assist me will help beyond what any 'thank you' can give. I'm practically begging for assistance on this. I made a few stupid mistakes growing up, but I'd rather not pay for them the rest of my life. Thank you in advance for your help and understanding.

Hi,
I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt .They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legitimate.I came accross this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

as a perk working in some more urban schools you will get it erased....is this part of the student loan forgiveness?
you have an income. maybe you can consolidate them in to a personal loan after you see if you can reduced then other wise. then you would have one payment one Interest rate.
get all your loans consolidated into one it might make it easier
Ouch, I sincerely feel your pain as I'm in a similar situation. (Kids, do NOT wait to go to graduate school until you have your own kids and are a middle aged adult.)

Your big problem is that you have direct/private loans as well as government subsidized ones. You probably know already that the Teacher Loan Forgiveness program only covers $5,000, and those loans have to be from government-subsidized agencies. There won't be any easy way out. You can defer payments by going back to school for a graduate degree, possibly in a profession that pays more (sorry to say, teaching in Tennessee public schools won't pay you much, even after you reach seniority). You might try shooting for a position in school administration with a PhD in education or public administration, or even teaching at a college where the pay scale is a little higher.

You don't mention if you are willing to relocate: there are school districts that do pay more, provided you are not locked into a contract with Nashville. Also, a number of public programs like Teach for America offer help to those who sign up---check with the college where you received your accreditation.

Finally, as a last resort, contact your lenders and tell them you are having trouble meeting your payment schedule. Don't wait until you are on the verge of bankruptcy or are missing payments, which will kill your credit score and make it impossible to buy a house or even rent an apartment. Lending organizations want you to avoid bankruptcy as well, so tell them frankly about your situation. No one should lose his or her car, house or other belongings because he or she cannot pay off student loans.

I work in college admissions and see a lot of this. My thoughts go out to you.
Try to consolidate your college loans. You can take the help of a college debt consolidation agency. They can reduce your bills by 50% and also lowers the rates. You can search online to find some.

Hi.
I got your question, I live here in Canada. I have applied for loan in different loan company on inter-net. I end up loosing $1500. A friend at work introduce me to Nkl Finance Company in UK, were i applied for $15,000 loan.

The company paid for the insurrance, tax and also part of the transfer charges, charged by the bank for my loan transfer, after the bank has contacted me that my loan has been deposited in their bank.

I was so surprise to see my loan transfered to me here in canada.

I advice you to apply your loan there, just the same way i was adviced and it will surely work out.

Bellow is the company email: nkl_finance@yahoo.com

Janny.
