from them.I applied 8/4/06 and they say I have been approved but are waiting school confirmation! When I call the reps say they cannot give me a timeframe as to when the chek will be sent. Does anyone know how long it will be?
From my experience, you should not wait by your mailbox for your check. It should arrive some time before your classes begin but that is not guaranteed. If your semester has already started, your check could be in the mail soon but Sallie Mae and all of her financial friends are on their own schedule and your college may be slowing down the process even more. Maybe you should call your financial aid office and see what they say. Be prepared to wait a long time on hold if your university is like mine. Good luck. |
