Need info on getting loans for college with not so great credit?

You can get Stafford loans (from the US govt) with not so great credit. I did. I talked to the finacial aid office at the college I went to and they were able to send me a packet of information. Now I think you can go on line and get all the infomation you need at www.fafsa.gov (I think).

I would also suggest trying to get as much in Pell Grants or other grants as possible as those don't have to be paid back, and try to get as much in the secured loans as possbile. With a secured loan the interest does not start accruing till after you graduate.
