College scholarship and loans? |
What are good places to look for scholarships? Do you know of any student loans that don't have to be paid back until after school and have low interest or no interest rates? In order to access their database you must first fill out a rather lengthy bio but it will be worth it in the end. Be sure to include various ways to get in touch with you. Another suggestion I have is begin looking into internships. This a great way to get involved in a chosen profession and can lead to a paying gig to help pay for school. As far as student loans are concerned, you will need to fill out the FAFSA, which is a federal student financial aid application. This has to be done first in order for you to qualify for financial aid. Most loans do not require you to begin paying them back until after school is ended, but they all have some kind of interest rate, otherwise they wouldn't be a loan. Some final advice try not to take out more in student loans then you really need because it really stinks to have pay them back. I got a letter from my bank (Chase) that said they have a loan that can be paid back after college. You won't find any, however, at the above site. Next, call the Financial Aid office of the school you'd like to attend, make an appointment, and talk to a professional. If, for some reason, they won't help you until you are registered, just call around to different schools until you find someone who will help you.
