Is it legal for a dealership to give credit information to a third party who is not on the application.? It is totally illegal. You singed that contract (application) and the should not be giving it out to anyone else. Unless it says somewheres on the application that they CAN give out your information in order to serve you better. So you are gonna have to go over the application again to make sure. ABSOLUTELY not! In order for them to solicit your information to a third party vendor or anyone else for that matter, they first need to disclose that to you. I agree with other poster, check over your documents thoroughly! Are you being sued? That is the only way I see it happening |
