How long does Credit Applications?


stay on your records for? For ever?

I was stupid and applied for about 6 credit applications cause after each one they told me, either NO or mail will come with a response(which almost always mean they denied you) so I kept trying to get one approved for my first line of credit.

I don't know what my score was before I did the credit applications but right now its 613.

If you still need to build some credit, find a local jewler. Tell them your situation, they will usually garauntee credit before you buy. Just buy a $200 bracelet or something for your mom. You then get a 6 month loan through them to pay off. This goes on your credit report and viola! You have started your credit history.

2 years and they will be gone, don't worry you did'nt do to much harm. In about 6 months they will be less of an impact, but some people have over 50 applications.
