Does Credit Consumer Counseling really help people who have big credit card bills and high finance charges?

It sure does...and unlike many other "credit counseling" services, it's a non-profit organizaiton...so it will not cost you anything to use.

it does negatively effect ur credit rating, but not as much as not making ur payments. we used a credit counseling agency and it helped alot. good luck.
it best if u do it yourself they don't help much just tell what to do were to get paper work and they charge u for that
Yes and no! The service will help you lower your monthly finance charges and will also lower you monthly payment - but it will ruin your credit - your credit card companies will cancel all their cards. Sorry - been there and done it!@
