Paying bills on line with credit card? |
i usually do and have done for months, recently i had some spyware that adaware picked up, is it still safe? I would go to the website of the place that you are paying or to your bank website and pay through them, as long as their website has the security lock on it. i agree with bill I agree with Bill and Stonedluv. You should do all bill paying on a secure banking site only. Your payments are secure, and they will also guarantee the payments to be made on time or they pay the penalities. Use your credit card's banking site to set up your account. I suggest you. 1) Turn on firewall 2) Do a scan with your virus scan ware 3) Remove all cookies 4) Check the C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files Lastly, prepare your bank's number and email, to report any unauthorised transactions done immediately. I not do it .
