Is it safe to write my SS number on line, for a credit card application? |
Is it safe to write my SS number on line, for a credit card application? it should be ok. Make sure that the web address on the application page starts with "https". The "s" means it is a secured site. Probably. Credit card sites are usually secured. If you're nervous, you could probably ask them to send you a paper application. Can you print the application and then mail it in? If there is a doubt in your mind....don't do it. sure. in fact, why not just have you SS number as your user ID?! Please don't put your SS# any were on line.Other people can get to it.Please be safe.Try not to give your SS# out to anyone at all.Safe keep yup |
