*Loan,banking and credit>>>credit line

I have horrible credit i tried to get a cell through verizon, and they required a $400.00 deposit per line...?

does anyone know of a service carrier that wont have such an off the wall fee. something that has good service!!!

Pre paid service.
t-Mobil and you should check into a pay as you go service such as trac phone.
to be honest no matter how you slice it, it's probably in your best interest to pay the deposit.
with cingular they pay you intrest on your deposit as long as you have on time payments for a year. so think of it as a cd with average interest.
any prepay option will be way more expensive in the long run unless you aren;t a big talker. anything over 300 daytime minutes a month it will be better to just pay the deposit.
the key to the deposit is you need to pay your bills on time and fix your credit
Verizons deposits are usually the highest. Try sprint, there deposits are usually $150. or lower also try cingular for the same reason
Try Sprint PCS, if it will give you coverage. I think it will cost about $125.00 deposit. The local Radio Shack can help you. That was what I paid when Verizon asked $400.00.
You guys are lucky...

Verizon wanted $1000 from me...

Anyway, if you really want to go with a carrier and actual plan then try Sprint as some have said, I still went with Verizon and haven't had one problem OR complaint about them. Anyway, also as mentioned, Sprint shouldn't charge you no more than $125 to $150 for a deposit, but if all else fails, then you should go for prepaid and in my opinion, I would try and get a GoPhone. I use to have a GoPhone when I was with AT&T Wireless before they merged with Cingular.
