It seems every website that advertises a free report is just after your credit card number or some other area of monies. I'm just looking for the bottom line. Can I get a credit report without obligation of rendering my credit card number or cash of anykind. Yes you can go to annualcreditreport.com you can see all 3 of your credit reports and also dispute anything and its FREE. Free Credit Report: Yes Free Credit Score: No You are allowed 1 free credit report per year from each of the 3 credit reporting agencies(Equifax, TransUnion, Experian). But if you want your credit score it will cost you. You should get your free report and not worry about the score at first. If you find any incorrect information on your report dispute it with the CRA's to have it corrected/removed. Once you know your report is correct if you are really interested in your score you can go to http://www.myfico.com and order your score. This is the most common score and will run you about $15 for each one. http://www.annualcreditreport.com... You are entitled to a free credit report from each of the three major credit reporting agencies EVERY YEAR. However, that does not include you overall credit score. That you have to pay for....... Yes go to annualcreditreport.com They will not give you your credit score number, but you can get a credit report for free. I just did it a month ago. It is a detailed report of accounts you have had in the past and currently. It is a nice tool. www.annualcreditreport.com a suggestion! you are entitled to 1 credit report per agency per year... so request one from experian, then 4 mos later, request it from transunion, 4 mos later, equifax... this way, you are monitoring your credit quarterly and not having to pay for any of it. |
