Credit Repair?

I have pulled a credit report and it's not out of the question to pay everything off and take care of that, but then what can I do to help repair my credit? Everything on my report is correct and I have nothing in my name besides 2 small ($300 & $100) loans from local loan companies. After everything is paid off will it still take a few years before I can get anything in my name?

Why would you be looking at credit repair. (there is no such thing by the way) You have two small loans that you say would be easy to pay off.
The only way to establish credit is to make payments on time. You might try buying something larger on credit, like a car, or something with a value higher than $300. finance it through a bank where you will get lower interest, and a good credit rating. Building credit takes a bit of time, but it can be damaged in less time. Be careful what you charge and make your payments on time.
As far as credit repair... there is no such animal. You have probably seen ads about repairing your credit (for a fee). However, the only way you can repair it is to ensure that your payments are made on time, every month. As long as your credit report is correct, you have nothing to dispute. If your credit score is above 600, you can easily build it up by your history of payments.
Credit Repair my not apply in this particular situation but to make the claim that 鈥淭here is no such animal" is Ignorant. I am Certified Credit Consultant through Central Michigan University and have taught Credit Repair classes to the UAW.

My question to you is, what is on your credit report that is keeping you from getting anything in your name?

Based on the information you provided I would suggest something like this:

Get a secured credit card. Establish a solid credit history by using the card and paying the balance in full regulalry. Pay off your loans as youve stated you are able to do so. There is no sense in paying interest fees if you do not have to. You state that there is no incorrect data on your report, so you must counter any negative information with positive information. Make sure you NO derogatory information gets reported. Restablish yourself with the secured card and graduate up to an unsecured card when it becomes available. Do not carry more than 50% on a revolving account and be sure to pay them off if/when you can. Never go over your limit. In time your score will rise and you can apply for bigger and better things. Credit is a reflection of your ability to manage your personal finances. Just manage your cash flow and you will do fine. Live beneath your means.
That is no longer the case. If you pay rent you can get that on your report. You can also get a secured debit card (Make sure they report to The Big 3).
You should go to the site below and ask them what to do. They will help you for free if you call their eight hundred number.
Good Luck.

Repairing your credit may not be as easy. You still have to suffer the consequences for the little dents in your credit history. However, you can still get back on by going to one of those places where they advertise that "bad credit" is not an issue. These places (car dealers, furniture stores, etc.) usually charge you an arm and a leg, but in the log run it will be beneficial to your current credit situation. I'm pretty sure there's other ways to get back on track. check out the site below to get some good ideas.
