Credit Repair? |
Hello, all, I'm working at repairing my credit and have made a little bit of progress. However my score is still on the upper range of the poor grade. Is there anyway to legally remove adverse items from your reports? A collection account for instance. Thanks in advance for your responses. good day, Im sorry to hear about your situation, everybody goes through all that mess anyway...heres a good credit assistance I recommend to you, they're for free no worries! Source(s): http://www.ezcreditrepairsolutions.com... http://www.newhorizon.org/info/unsecured... You could always pay off that collection agency Step-by-Step Credit Repair Guide http://www.debt-loan-refinance-mortgage-... Have you paid off that collection account yet? If not, call them and ask them to take a settlement. Also tell them you want the collection account removed from your credit report. Get it in writing before you pay it off though. There is no legal way to remove accurate adverse information. You can dispute the information and the credit bureau will have to notate the dispute on your report, but the information will not be removed. Hi there! My husband I had the same problem when we went to apply for a loan to get our house. They told us my husband's credit was in the 500's and I didn't even have any credit. Go figure! Anyways, they told my husband to apply for a credit card where you have to put money on it to use it. His has a $250 credit line to start. They take that out right off the top. You start out with nothing the first month unless you put money on it. You start out by owing the credit line amount which in his case was $250, made in monthly payments of $40. Say for instance, you put $50 on the card, then you have $50 to spend. Get a card like that, make your payments on time, pay off the credit limit and it will help raise your score. It helped raise my husband's credit and made it to where we could get a loan for our home. He has 2 cards. One is a Visa from Rewards 660 with a monthly payment of $40 and a Mastercard from First Premier Bank with a monthly payment of $20. He found them both online. Both cards are for people with bad credit. They help you reestablish your credit and raise your credit score. Hope this helps you! Good luck! |
