Credit Repair? Anyone used it? What company? Cost? Results?

THEY WORK!!! About 4 years ago I fell into some serious debt issues and could barely afford my car payment. I managed to get out of it, but turned to debt consolidation. The company was called ALLIANCE Debt Consolidation.They were able to call all of my debt companies and work out a payment plan. My payments literally went from $2,000 a month to $300... a BIG difference, it was FREE. They ask for a "donation" but it's totally non-profit, It took me about 3 years to pay everything off, but I made it. I think that getting a one-time credit report is good to have... but it has to be with a good company. I recently got a credit report through CAPITALONE... I believe I pay $20 a year... but it is so indept, and available on-line. And updated every quarter. It's worth it. and you can see EVERYTHING, including contact numbers to call the companies listed on you Credit Report.

Do not use any of those rip-off companies. They will make your credit report worse.
Contact you lenders and work out a repayment schedule. You are legally and morally responsible to repay the debts you ran up.

In some cases, you do have to use help for credit repair. (Like in cases of identity theft or complex credit issues.) In my opinion, an attorney would be your best bet for the best results. However, it won't be the lowest cost, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Lates are very hard to remove if they are accurate. You may want to run the dispute process yourself.
