Can anyone suggest a good credit repair agency? |
I need to repair my credit but honestly do not have the time to do this myself. Has anyone ever used an agency that acutally worked and if so how long did it take? I used to do credit repair and sometimes still do for my friends. You should take a look at NOLO LAW they tell you how to repair your credit without those expensive agencies beside they will only hurt you credit more. Be careful. Email me if you need more information. Lexington Law www.lexingtonlaw.com I have used this one: www.cornerstonecred.com and they have done a very good job so far. After you will be signing the contract with them, will take between 6 to 12 months in order to see the results. Hope you can restore your credit!!!!! see if one of these matches your needs http://www.researchitforme.com/wesayes/c... http://www.careonecredit.com/ There is no such thing as "credit repair." Your credit report should reflect accurate information. You can pull your credit report from the 3 major reporting services once per year without charge. Visit annualcreditreport.com. Read each item listed carefully. If there are any inaccuracies, work towards having them corrected. If the creditor refuses to correct something, challenge the credit reporting service to prove the information on the report. They must then send that company an inquiry requesting proof of the information reported. If they do not respond, or cannot prove the information, they must remove it. If you have accurate information reported, and that information is bad, there is no way to legally remove that bad information. You may be able to increase your credit score by paying off the bad debts, thus changing the report from "does not pay" to "paid or settled." Do not waste money on someone that claims that they can "repair" your credit. The only credit they repair is the amount of money you give them going into their bank account. Do try to have bad information removed from your report through deceit. Do not bend or stretch the truth in an attempt make you look better. In most cases, if you have a reason for why your payments were late, or you had to quit paying, you may add a statement to your credit report explaining the reason. For instance, "I became ill in 2001 and had to stop working. It took me two years before Social Security began paying disability. I am trying to work with my creditors to resolve any outstanding balances now that I have a small monthly income again. Please be patient, as I plan to make good on my debts, but it will take time." There is honesty, an explanation, and a willingness to repay what you owe. If your report shows that you are working on creditors, one-by-one, your statement goes a long way towards improving the overall picture of your credit worthiness. Good luck!
