21 and need help badly with credit repair.? |
I am 21 and have a 550 credit score. I am buying a new truck in a week or two. I got an interest rate on 24000 of 23% I have had my credit reprt for about a month. I have about 10000 in debt some of it is medical bills, and about half I have no Idea what they are or I know they are not mine. One has my mothers social on it. I have ones I know are not mine in dispute but still have not heard anything. What can I do So in 6 mos or a year I can refi and get my interest low. How do I fix my credit. Please, please, please don't do that to yourself. You will be paying in upwards of 3x's the brand new value of that truck. That doesn't include depreciation! Most times you will be hit with fees if you refinance before 24 months! So you'll be paying 4x's the principal in interst each month for two years!!! If you can give it a few months go this route: Score Max http://www.communityempower.com/cfic/...... Use Loan Officer #139336 This is such a GREAT program... it's seriously the fastest way to improve your score!!! It's truly crazy to pay that kind of interest. The depreciation will be enormous!! Let these guys take a look at everything for you!!! You can repair your credit from day one... a few months could literally save you THOUSANDS!!!!! Source(s): http://www.communityempower.com/cfic/...... Use Loan Officer #139336 http://www.cfic.com/jasonhernandez&page=... First of all, consider leasing a car for 2-3 years instead of buying right now. Take out some secured credit cards in the mean time which should raise your score by then. Put the downpayment that would have gone towards the car toward the debt at the highest interest rate that isn't being disputed. try to consolidate your outstanding debt and roll it into structured payments. Please DO NOT buy this vehicle. It is a criminally high rate and once you drive your 24K vehicle off the lot, it will be worth about $16K if you're lucky. You will NOT be able to refinance a vehicle in six months because you will owe much more than it is worth. Don't rely on this. And credit disputes can take over a year of diligence on your part alone to get resolved. Since your credit doesn't support a lower interest rate, go for a used vehicle under 7K and make sure there are NO prepayment penalties. You have to write to the credit agency and provide proof that the debt is not yours. They don't make it easy or fast to do so. |
