Is this site any good for credit repair information. Alot of people said it works.? |
I may try some of these systems http://www.mintcreditrepair.com... You can use it but the best way to clear up your credit is to obtain your credit reports from the three reporting agencies... Equifax, TransUnion and Experian. It's a pain in the neck and rather time consuming but you actually have to dispute with each company, not just one of them. I personally use form letters. I also pull my credit once a year from each on of the agencies. You'll be amazed what inaccurate information is on your files. I was. By the way, in most states, you're entitled to one free report per year from each agency. You can obtain the reports at www.transunion.com, www.equifax.com and www.experian.com. If you want more information on your FICO and what your credit means, go to Fair Isaac's site at www.myfico.com. Good luck! Trust me, these credit repair places are a scam. They offer to do exactly the same things that you can do yourself. And remember, there is no way to legally force the credit repair agencies to remove anything that ias been properly disputed and investigated. The best way is just do it yourself. Below are some of the better links that I have come across. http://www.comresinc.org/forms/credit/cl... http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/cred... http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/cred... http://www.cardreport.com/laws/statute-o... http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/cred... http://www.fool.com/seminars/ev/?sid=002... Sample validation letter Be careful with credit repair companies. The only one I found that helped is here: http://www.creditscorebooster.com?a_aid=... |
