What percent of the orig. debt did you pa it depends on the company and you begging skills .but i have heard anywhere from 30 to 50 percent.when it had happen to me i received only 25% deduction. i owed visa 10k and i got it down to 4800 Yes I have, but it depends on who it is with. Some will say it is illegal and they can't do it but it can be done. If they say they can't just tell them to agree in writing that when you dipute it and the credit agency go to verify that they will not respond so it will just fall off.
