How to repair my credit ?

I have many collections that I've paid already but they're still showing in my credit report . How can I fix this?

It will take 30-60 days for them to report the payment to the credit bureaus. If more than time has passed since your payment, you can go to the credit bureau web sites, TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. Once there, you can file a dispute for any information that is incorrect. In most cases, you can do this online, but for some disputes they require it by mail. Once you have filed the dispute, the credit bureau will contact the companies to verify the payoffs, and correct your report, or notify you that the companies didn't verify it.

Oh, by the way, this is all free as long as you haven't pulled a credit report in the last year.

Contact the credit rating agency and dispute the account that is showing this anomaly.

You may do this using the web or telephone and even by mail. I would consider the web the most convenient. They will investigate and respond in a month.
