How can you repair bad credit when charged off items appear in report??

There are two legal ways to repair credit:

1) If something in your credit report is wrong or not legit, you can ask for it to be investigated and removed.

2) For anything that's legitimate, the only way to repair your credit is to pay your bills on time for a sufficiently long period of time.

Don't let anyone con you into getting an Employer Identification Number from the IRS to start a new credit file. That's illegal and fraudulent.

time solves all. Pay all your debts and time will take care of the rest.
Let it age out (7 years) then they have to remove it, or pay it off.
Best way to pay it off, hire a credit fix firm on commission only, to reduce the debt down, should get you a 50 cents on the dollar deal if you can settle for cash.

Otherwise 7 years is not a long time for a young person, keep track of the time and file for deletion from your credit report.
