Companies that claim to repair your credit for a fixed fee???? |
I have a bad credit history and recently contacted a company that said they can clear and repair my credit status in just 6 weeks for 拢122, Can this actually be done or is it just a con? Has anyonw here had this service done or know of anyone that has?? I dont know anything about credit in the UK, but here in the USA there are plenty of scams. I used a company that worked, this is their site.......... http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/... They charged me a monthly fee and every month they disputed negative items and hits on my credit using federal law and did a good job.They also cleaned up a lot of id theft and personal info problems I had. It took almost 8 months, but the end result was good. I would be very skeptical about anyone that claims they can repair your credit in 6 weeks. 6 months if you have mildly bad credit, a year OR LONGER if you have horrible credit! EVEN THEN THERE IS NO GUARANTEE AS TO WHAT THE CREDIT BUREAUS WILL DO! There is a new type of so called credit repair where people open a new credit file by using a new fake social or employee id #. This is illegal and you should stay away from anyone that says they can do that... You must also understand, (which I was taught), credit repair is not just removing negative info, its about adding positive info, different types of accounts, keeping balances low, using your credit and making payments on time. 122 Plus whatever you owe SCAM how can they fix it by making you poorer and more in debt. If you saved the money instead that will help. You'll end up being 122 pounds poorer |
