What can I do to repair my credit? Where should I go get assistance?

First thing first you must evaluate your spending pattern. If you are spending more than you make, it doesn't matter how you try to "repair" your credit. You will be back to the same situation as you are right now.

If that's not the case, first thing is to try to pay all the bills on time and pay in full. When your monthly payment is under control, you can start looking into transferring your balance to a low interest card.

Repairing credit takes time, lenders often look at your credit history more so than how much you make. If at all possible, avoid using debt consolidation company. Most of them don't really help you it will show on your credit report that you use one of them.

I have hurd of ppl fixin your credit. My friend found one localy. If I were you I would ask around at some of the car lots, or some or some of the local Nicer used car lots. I have several friends in that BIZZ and they know how to do A LOT of that kind of stuff. They can help for a small price I am sure.
Don't go anywhere! Any and all credit repair can be done by you. First get all 3 of you credit reports. When you get you credit reports they come with confirmation numbers that allow you to dispute online. Dispute the trade lines online and the credit bureaus have thirty days to prove the debt is yours. Hopefully some of them will come off that way. Those that don't, you want to send them letters of verification, asking the company to show you a paper trail that proves the debt is yours. Plus call the credit bureaus and have all old addresses and misspelled names removed.
