I read a couple of weeks back someone talking about a program that cost $47 dollars to repair your credit.? |

The lady there offers a program that wipes out all of the negative items on your credit report in 1 to 3 months. As others have said, this is probably something we could do for ourselves IF we had the time and IF we knew exactly what to do. For $47 it might be worth checking out. Amy if they charge you for it, back out. They can't do anything which you can't do yourself. don't pay someone to repair you credit, it's a rip off. you can do it yourself and without giving out money. There really is no instant fix to your credit report. The only way to actually repair your credit is to payoff any derogatory credit marks such as collections, judgments and liens. If you have late payments on items that are currently reporting, it takes 24 months for them to cycle off. If you have items on your report that are closed and still showing a delinquent record, you can dispute the item through the credit reporting agencies. You can get a free credit report once a year at annualcreditreport.com. Your credit scores are not necessary for purposes of cleaning your credit so don't buy them unless you want them. ( about $8 each) These reports are very consumer friendly. They tell you what everything means and how to dispute items. Remember that items can stay on your credit report for up to 10 years. I work with credit reports daily. There are some for sale on ebay, I don't remember who they were by. It's under informational items I think. Good Luck!
