If not, do it. the collection agencies or who ever u owe will be listed on it. call the phone numbers and make arrangements to pay them. a lot of times the creditors are willing to settle for a lower amount rather than u having to pay the whole thing. call and talk to them and see what u can work out. I am going through the same thing right now. The ones that wont settle for a lower amount will work out a payment plan with u where u can even pay monthly. after u get that paid off, to build credit u make sure u pay all bills on time. You can go get a consolidation loan if some one will cosign for you but with lousy credit I do not think anyone will .
