How can i repair my credit after several charge offs?

i got into an adjustable rate apr on my home loan...in order to make house payments, and FEED MY KIDS, i had to let my other bills slide for several months until my house finally sold. i am now ready to try and get my life back on track, and that means first i have to get my credit back!!! i want to take responsibility for my past bills, but am wondering if once they have been charged off, i can still repair my credit? is it possible, and if so how? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they have been charged off, expect a high tax bill next year. All of that charged off debt, will be counted as income.

Yes it is possible but you need to contact all your creditors.Sometimes the say they have charged it off but in reality it just means you haven't paid in 6 months. Get a copy of your credit report and start making phone calls. Make sure to get things in sriting because even if you pay them off there is no promises that it will repair your credit. ope it helps.

If you do pay off the past debts you will feel better but your credit score will not. They are there, as history, for seven (7) years. Many companies will not even notify the credit bureau of the payoff especially collection agencies.

Start by building good credit, without over extending yourself, the best you can. After the seven years you will have good credit and be back on your feet. Use a debit card in lieu of a credit card. In this way no money in the bank no product in the bag.
YES AND IT IS EASY TO DO!!!! I HAVE DONE IT LOTS OF TIMES. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET YOUR CREDIT REPORT AND WRITE A LETTER TO ALL 3 CREDIT COMP. DISPUTING YOUR CHARGE OFFS. THEY HAVE 30 DAYS TO REPLY AND IF THEY DONT, THEN THEY HAVE TO TAKE THEM OFF. I HAVE EVEN HAD HOUSE REPO'S REMOVED AND INFACT, I AM BUYING MY 4th HOUSE NOW. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT ALSO DOES CREDIT REPAIR AND HE IS VERY CHEAP. I ALSO KNOW PEOPLE THAT NEVER PAY THEIR BILLS AND ALWAYS HAVE STUFF REMOVED JUST TO BUILD UP THE BILLS AGAIN, AND CHARGE THEM OFF. ITS CRAZY BUT THATS HOW EASY IT IS. DONT PAY THEM OFF, IT WONT HELP YOUR CREDIT SCORE!! TRUST ME!!!
